B. New and Maintenance: requiring the ability to carry out requests that will initiate or alter previously documented items such as taking and maintaining orders, develop pricing for specials, understanding the impact and initiating order changes.
C. Informational: requiring research and understanding of readily accessible information such as in catalogs, ATP, delivery.
2. Perform other related duties as assigned. These other related duties include:
A. Technical: author technical bulletins; develop market information for product improvement, new product opportunities, etc. Author and maintain deviation schedules.
B. Maintenance: including EDI editing, updating quotations, TRD/Ultramation transactions, summary/trend analysis work such as sample effectiveness and quote summary; returned goods processing.
C. Informational: including gathering of information to enter into the customer database.
D. Communications: Performs sales presentations as required, including active participation as an instructor at Bimba seminars and/or participant in customer/distributor product presentations.
REQUIREMENTS:
§ The right candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Engineering Technology. Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering will be accepted if applicant has completed coursework in electronics or electric theory.

Funds that were raised through our inaugural job fair were used to pay for learning materials and scholarships for manufacturing students at two local universities. This year we hope to have over 40 manufacturing employers with over 20 already committed.
The Manufacturing Industry Job Fair is scheduled for Friday, April 4, 2008in the Purdue University Calumet Gymnasium from 12:00pm – 3:00pm. The event is open to community members, PUC students and alumni.
